Agreement

These terms are between you and The Catholic Connect Foundation (“we”, “us”), a Texas nonprofit corporation recognised as tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, which operates masstimesnearme.org. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

The service

We show Catholic Mass, confession and Adoration times, and information about parishes, on a map. The service is free, requires no account, and may change or be withdrawn at any time.

Accuracy — please read this one

Schedules are supplied by parishes through the Catholic Connect directory. They change — for holy days, holidays, funerals, weather, clergy availability, and sometimes for no announced reason at all. Background details about a parish are compiled from public sources, including by automated means, and may be incomplete or out of date.

We make no warranty that any time, address, or detail shown here is accurate or current. Confirm with the parish before you travel, particularly for a holy day of obligation, a first visit, or a long journey. If you find something wrong, please tell us — it is the most useful thing you can do for the next person.

Acceptable use

• Use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Do not scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract the parish data, and do not attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls.
• Do not use the site or its data to build a competing directory, to train a commercial model, or to resell the information.
• Do not interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or use it to harass anyone or any parish.

Content and ownership

Parish listings, schedules and profile content originate with the parishes and with Catholic Connect Inc., and are used on this site with permission from Catholic Connect Inc. Nothing here transfers any right in that data to you. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors and © CARTO, used under their respective licenses. The site's own design, text and code belong to The Catholic Connect Foundation.

Links to other sites

We link to Catholic Connect, to parish websites, and to mapping and directions services. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on information shown here — including a missed or mistaken service time, or a journey made in vain. Because the service is free and we charge you nothing, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to it will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so parts of the two sections above may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Catholic Connect Foundation, Catholic Connect Inc., and their officers, directors, volunteers and agents from any claim arising out of your misuse of the service or your breach of these terms.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and who receives it, and forms part of these terms.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms; the date at the top will change and continued use after that constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who breaches them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the state and federal courts located in Texas will have exclusive jurisdiction. This choice of law and forum does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law where you live, and does not prevent you from bringing a claim where applicable consumer law allows.

General

If any part of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us about this site. You may not assign them; we may assign them to a successor of the Foundation or of this service.
